M_22// DELIVERY

Delivery Architecture

From roadmap to release. Without the chaos.

SCROLL↓

MISSION BRIEF

Most teams know what they want to build. Very few have a system that reliably gets them there. We design and implement the end-to-end delivery process — from how ideas become tasks, to how tasks become shipped features, to how shipped features become learned lessons.

CAPABILITIES

▸Product roadmap structuring and milestone architecture
▸Release pipeline design — staging, QA gates, production deploys
▸Definition of Ready standards for backlog items
▸Incident response and post-mortem processes
▸Continuous delivery culture implementation

▸ OVERVIEW

Shipping software is a system. Roadmaps, capacity, milestones, dependencies, QA, deploys, post-launch — all of it. When one piece is broken, releases slip, scope explodes, and engineers learn to distrust the plan. We design the delivery system that turns "we're building a lot of stuff" into "we're shipping the right stuff on time".

Not a methodology. A connected set of practices, artefacts, and rituals tuned to your specific product, team, and constraints.

▸ WHAT WE DELIVER

01

Roadmap → milestones

Roadmap broken into milestones with explicit dependencies, owners, and definition-of-done.

02

Capacity + commitments

Realistic capacity modelling, commitment discipline, slip tracking.

03

QA + release gates

Gates that catch real defects without slowing real work. Risk-based, not theatre.

04

Deploy pipeline

CD properly: feature flags, progressive rollout, automated rollback, observability per release.

05

Incident + post-launch

Post-deploy monitoring, incident playbooks, blameless retros that produce learnings.

06

Cross-team coordination

When several teams ship together — dependency mapping, joint planning, integration phases.

▸ WHO IT'S FOR

  • ▸Companies whose releases regularly slip without warning
  • ▸Engineering orgs scaling past 3 teams shipping to a shared product
  • ▸Companies who've added "release management" as a job and it isn't working
  • ▸Leaders inheriting a delivery system that wasn't designed — it accreted

▸ OUTCOMES YOU CAN EXPECT

  • ✓Releases that ship when committed
  • ✓Scope that doesn't mysteriously expand
  • ✓Deploys that don't require all-hands and prayer
  • ✓A delivery system the team trusts

▸ HOW WE WORK

01

Map

Current delivery flow, friction points, slipped releases catalogued.

02

Redesign

New flow, new artefacts, new ritual cadence — proposed, debated, agreed.

03

Pilot

Run on one team or one release. Measure. Iterate.

04

Scale + own

Roll out, train, hand to in-house leads.

▸ FREQUENTLY ASKED

▸Is this the same as project management?

PM is one component. Delivery architecture is the whole system: planning, capacity, gates, deploy, post-launch.

▸Do you replace our release manager?

No — we make their job possible. Often the release manager becomes the system owner after we leave.

▸What about hardware / mobile releases?

Yes — we've designed delivery systems for mobile (store releases), embedded (firmware), and hybrid stacks.

▸ THE ITI-X DIFFERENCE

We've run weekly staging and production deploy cadences on multi-developer teams. We know where the bottlenecks hide, and we've already designed around most of them.
